Although I do not have photographs of the udders that back this guy up he is proving himself to be a valuable addition to my herd.  His first freshening daughters have been winning in the show ring.  New Bellwether RR Soaring Seas 4*M was Best Junior Goat in Show in Corsicana  !  

 

Red at 2015 Linear Appraisal scored a VEE 90 ! 

 

His daughters are just beautiful with well attached udders and these girls just ooze with dairy character!

 

Red now has four Superior Genetics daughters !  Wow!  Talk about paying it forward!

SG New Bellwether Minnie Pearl 4 *M VEEE 90 won Grand Champion Senior Doe in Fort Worth Spring 2018 and Grand Champion Senior doe at the 2019 Memorial Classic.  Mini completed her Permanent Champion Status at the Louisiana Cajun Classic in July of 2020.

 

Red's First freshening daughter Aries RR Cauldron *5M won Reserve Champion at the 2018 Houston Livestock Show!

Aries RR Cauldron won in both rings at the Hamilton Legends Show.  She was BEST in show under judge Jeff Klein.

Red now has a daughter who has her permanent Championship.  Cauldron went Grand at the Houston Livestock Show making her a permanent Champion!  Thanks for such spectacular daughters Red!!

Red's daughter Aries RR Cauldron *5M was part of the Champion Nigerian Dairy Herd at the 2018 Houston Livestock Show!

Red's daughters SG New Bellwether RR Mini Pearl *4M and Aries RR Cauldron *M were part of our second place Dairy Herd in all three rings in Decatur 2018

Aries RR Cauldron has qualified for her milk star at a one day Milk Test as a First Freshener!

Aries RR Wicked has qualified for her milk star on a one day Milk Test making Red a +B.

He now has four daughters with their milk star I am so proud.

On the evening of August 23 Red River passed away peacefully in his sleep.  He did not appear to be in distress but his current owner said that he had been slowing down quite a bit in the weeks prior.  I was blessed to be able to lease him the previous fall and he sired a final crop of kids for the Aries herd before going back home to work for his owner.  Fly high sweet Red you earned it!
